Huge congratulations to RNC’s Partially Sighted Football Team who at the weekend were proclaimed Championship League Winners 2022. They are 15 points clear, with one final tournament left to play on 9 April in Preston.
After the tournament, RNC’s Team Manager, Dylan Malpas, said:
‘Fantastic achievement for us today as RNC are crowned Champions of the Championship. Ten wins out of ten for the season. A privilege to manage our team and the development and work ethic this season has been outstanding by everyone involved.’
A spokesman for the PSFL said:
“Amazing achievement to win the Championship League. You can truly see the hard work and dedication shown by all the players and coach. Unbeatable all season.
“Congratulations to all the players/coaches and supporters. This team led by Dylan Malpas has developed incredibly in the last 2 years, and what an achievement in such a short space of time.
“Also a huge shoutout to Katie Christopher who has only conceded 8 goals so far this season, which is the lowest for any goalkeeper across both of our leagues! Well done RNC, this is only the start of things to come.”
