Incredible turnaround from the record breaking floods of February to ‘lower than average’ river flows in early April.

Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for #Herefordshire & #Worcestershire said the following on Twitter:

“Virtually no rain in the first week of April.

Takes some believing but river flows on the Severn & Wye now below normal.”

The current level of the Wye in #Hereford is 0.298 metres, nearly 6 metres below levels reached in February!
