Doctor Colin Wood retired from the NHS in 2017, he previously spent 42 years working in hospital medicine and general practice.
To support the local community, he is currently manning the door of the entrance to the Golden Fleece in Hereford. His son Toby is licensee.
Due to government rule changes, pubs in England now have to close at 10pm, and there are stricter rules regarding serving customers.
The NHS app went live this week, and Colin is helping customers scan their details for the government track and trace scheme.
Colin told us “Its important that everybody downloads the new NHS app, and be responsible for social distancing”
