There are reports on social media that a dog has attacked two people in Hereford this evening.
A post shared on Live Chat Room Hereford this evening said:
“I’ve just witnessed an older lady and gentleman get attacked by a dog.
“The dog kept going for the lady from what I saw. The breed looked like a Bullmastiff and a golden colour.
“In the Moor Farm area on the little bridge. I really wanted to check if they were ok, but was trying to get four small children away from the area as quick as I could as they also witnessed it.
“The dog came from nowhere and no owner in sight and it ran off in the direction of Yazor Road.
“I wanted to see if the lady was on here and that she isn’t too shaken up as it looked like a very scary situation to be in.
“I believe the lady was on the phone to the police, but if this is your dog please keep it on a lead out in public areas.”
