Pubs will be allowed to remain open for an extra 45 minutes on Sunday for the Euro 2020 final, Downing Street has confirmed.

Pubs will be allowed to remain open until 11.15pm, instead of 10.30pm, to allow fans to watch the match if it ends in extra time or a penalty shoot out. The extension to opening hours will apply regardless of whether England progress to the final, with the Three Lions set to take on Denmark in tomorrow’s Euro 2020 Semi Final.

The temporary change to licensing restrictions will apply in England and Wales.
