West Mercia Police have shared an appeal after a recent increase in ‘Cannabis Edibles’ being sold to children.

West Mercia Police say that the ‘Cannabis Edibles’ are being disguised as normal sweets, but have the same effects as regular cannabis.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“There has been an increase in cannabis edibles in circulation which are aimed towards Children and young adults.

“The attached images highlight the efforts to disguise the drug as legitimate sweets.

“Very concerning should the drug fall into the hands of Children, they are illegal and have the same affects as regular cannabis.

“Please report to the Police or confidentially via Crimestoppers if you see any, or have concerns.”
