West Mercia Police officers are searching for a male dog walker, who they wish to speak to in connection with an incident near Ledbury.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“At 09:30 hours on Monday 9th of May 2022, a male was walking his dog, a brown and white Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog, along the footpath that goes from the Full Pitcher roundabout towards Little Marcle Road, Ledbury.
“This footpath leads through a wooded area behind the Water Reclamation Works and is known locally as ‘The Plantation’.
“This Bull-Terrier has then attacked another dog and his owner, causing significant injuries to the dog owner.
“We are trying to identify the owner of the Bull Terrier, who is described as a white male, around 5’10” tall, around 45-50 years of age and had a beard”.
