UPDATE – 10.30pm // Police remain at Munchies takeaway on Commercial Road in Hereford. Police attended several takeaway establishments on Commercial Road at around 8.30pm this evening. Members of the public have reported that police have said that they are searching for people who may have run away from the takeaway establishment at the time that police attended. A police drone continues to hover over Hereford city centre. One person commented that immigration officials were also present with the police.
Police are currently at Munchies takeaway on Commercial Road in Hereford. Two officers are inside talking to staff members and no customers are being allowed entry into the outlet.
A heavy police presence has been reported in the St Guthlac area of the city and in surrounding streets and several residents have contacted us to report that a drone is hovering over houses. One resident told us that police told them that they were looking for people.
