West Mercia Police have reported an increase in thefts of keyless Ford vehicles in the West Mercia force area.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“There has been a significant increase in the theft of Ford Fiesta and Ecosport ST and Titanium models in Telford, North Worcestershire and South Worcestershire since December 2021.
“If you have a keyless Ford vehicle please make sure you leave your key away from the front door or ideally keep the key and a Faraday bag. This will help to prevent your Ford vehicle from being stolen.
