West Mercia Police have provided an update on the significant police activity that was reported in the South Wye / Belmont areas of Hereford in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Local residents reported hearing a helicopter hovering over the area for a number of hours.
Some residents also reported seeing officers searching in streets in the Belmont area.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“The police presence was in relation to a missing person who has since been found.”
