Vehicle seized following stop near Leominster.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police (Leominster Cops) said:

“On Saturday morning at approximately 11.25am, a vehicle was stopped by the Ok Diner In Leominster by West Mercia Police officers. 

“A simple police national computer check of the vehicle showed the driver had no insurance in place for the vehicle.

“The driver was arrested for suspected drug drive after failing the roadside drug test, whilst the vehicle was seized by police for the no insurance offence. 

“Driving whilst impaired through drink or drugs is not only a criminal offence but also dangerous. 

“Luckily in this instance the driver was dealt with and the danger removed from our roads.
