West Mercia Police have issued a warning after a rise in vehicle crime was recorded in one area of the county.

From West Mercia Police:

We have been made aware that there have been a number of vehicle crimes in the Ross area over the last few weeks although the victims have not been reporting this to police.

We would urge anyone who is victim to any vehicle crime, be it criminal damage, theft from vehicle etc to call in and report this.

Gloucestershire police have suffered an increase in thefts of catalytic converters, so please be mindful of this :-Park your car in a locked garage where possible or in a well lit and populated area. If parking your vehicle in a public car park, consider parking alongside other cars, facing your bonnet towards the wall if possible. Park close to fences, walls or a kerb with the exhaust being closest to the fence/wall to make the theft more difficult.
