West Mercia Police have issued an urgent warning following a significant number of thefts involving motorbikes and mopeds in the South Wye area of Hereford in recent hours.
From West Mercia Police:
“Over the last 24 hours, there have been a large number of reports of mopeds and motorbike thefts across the south of Hereford. Some of these bikes have been found and recovered but have been severely damaged.
“We ask that our community remain vigilant and keep their mopeds, motorbikes, and any vehicles they possess secure and where possible out of sight.
“If you have CCTV , ensure it is operating correctly and keeping your property covered and safe. We also ask that anyone with information come forward by contacting Police on 101.”
