West Mercia Police officers have issued an appeal after suspicious activity was reported in a village in Herefordshire.
The police have received a number of reports of suspicious activity in the Madley area.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We’ve received numerous reports over recent days of a suspicious male loitering outside people’s houses late at night.
“He’s been seen peering through people’s windows and trying car door handles, usually between 10pm and midnight. Some people have caught him on their ring doorbells and others have actually sighted him personally.
“He’s described as being a white male, slim build, wearing 3/4 length shorts and a light coloured hoodie with the hood up.
“Please can you all remain vigilant and ensure that all valuables are securely locked away behind a good quality padlock. Please make sure that your car doors are locked and that there are no valuables left in your vehicles over night. If you see this male please call police urgently.”
