West Mercia Police have issued an appeal after reports that a person was raped in the toilets of a pub in Herefordshire.
The incident occurred on Friday at The Retreat pub in Ledbury.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:
“On Friday afternoon (20 October) we received a report of a rape which had taken place in the female toilets of The Retreat pub, Ledbury.
“A scene guard was put in place at the pub to secure evidence and to allow officers to investigate.
“One man was arrested on suspicion of rape. He is currently on police bail.”
