Police are appealing for information after receiving reports of a man ‘touching himself inappropriately’ at a children’s play park.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We have been made aware of an incident which happened on the 11th July at approximately 17:40 at t Marden play park.
“A male sitting on a bench and allegedly was touching himself inappropriately. We have been informed and an officer is currently investigating this.
“We understand that many children frequent the play areas around Sutton and Marden, and we want to stress the importance of supervision in these spaces.
“While these should be safe environments for our children, incidents like this serve as a reminder to remain vigilant.
“If your child visits the park unsupervised, please ensure they know how to respond if they encounter someone behaving suspiciously.
“Encourage them to report any unusual activity to you immediately.
