West Mercia Police have issued an appeal, following a concerning incident in Herefordshire on Friday evening.

The incident occurred in the Ledbury area, and is just one of a number of incidents reported to Police over recent weeks.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“We have had a report this evening of a male, aged approximately 30 years old, walking up to a 17 year old lone female on the Deer Park Estate and whispering “hello” closely in her ear.

“The female started walking faster to get away and when she turned round he was stood on the pavement smirking and possibly recording her on his mobile phone.

“This happened near to the bus stop on Biddulph Way/Martins Way.

“The male is described as tanned with a foreign accent, brown hair, white top on with black around the bottom, jeans and white trainers.

“Officers carried out an area search but no sightings.
