“Just a quick message to inform you that we are starting to see a slight rise in household burglaries, none on our area at this stage but some in surrounding areas.
“Set lights on timers to make your house look occupied. Inform a neighbour if you are going away. Have an alarm or even a dummy box installed.
“If you see anything suspicious call 101 or 999 if it’s happening there and then.”
