Herefordshire officers are urging the public to report any information following reports of people becoming very unwell after taking a substance believed to be Ketamine or Cocaine.

Ketamine and Cocaine are illegal and unregulated and with this comes the risk of not knowing what you are taking.

Detective Inspector Catherine Taylor said: “Taking any form of illicit drugs is illegal and dangerous, especially as you do not know exactly what they contain. We will always seek to take formal action against anyone found possessing or supplying drugs due to the terrible impact they can have on people and their communities.

“We issue this health warning to anyone, that should you begin to feel unwell, then please seek emergency medical attention.

“I would like to urge anyone with information on the supply of illegal drugs to contact us so we can investigate and protect our communities.”

Anyone with information about drug supply can report it online by visiting www.westmercia.police.uk or call 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
