West Mercia Police have provided a further update on last nights incident in Hereford.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire:

“Around 8.15pm yesterday (Tuesday 19 April) officers received a report concerned for the condition of a person on Braemar Gardens, Hereford.

“Officers and West Midlands Ambulance Service attended.

“A woman was taken to hospital with a non-life changing injury. No other injuries were reported.

“Officers are no longer at the scene and enquiries are ongoing.”

Earlier today, West Midlands Ambulance Service shared the following short statement with us:

“We were called at 8:08pm to reports of a stabbing in Braemar Gardens, Hampton Park. One ambulance, a paramedic officer and a Mercia Accident Rescue Service (MARS) trauma doctor attended the scene. Crews treated a woman for injuries not believed to be life-threatening and she was conveyed to hospital on blue lights and sirens.”
