Overnight, Leominster Safer Neighbourhood Team were involved an operation to target rural crime across north Herefordshire.
SNT were supported by colleagues from our Operational Policing Unit (OPU) and Dyfed Powys Police for the operation.
Their activity was aimed at disrupting those criminals operating during the hours of darkness committing burglaries, theft of motor vehicles, in particular 4x4s and high-powered vehicles, as well as theft of power tools and farming equipment.
More than 20 vehicles were checked for roadworthiness and potential links to criminality.
One stop and search resulted in an offensive weapon being seized.
