Police have confirmed that the body of a man has been discovered near a busy road.
The body was discovered on Monday morning, with Gwent Police closing the B4521 in Monmouthshire for several hours.
The body was discovered in Llanvetherine, just a few miles from the border with Herefordshire.
Gwent Police confirmed that the man’s family have been informed and that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said:
“Officers closed the B4521 at Llanvetherine at around 8am on Monday 18 December following the discovery of a man’s body.
“The man’s family has been informed and are being supported by officers.”
