West Mercia Police have confirmed that a body has been found by search and rescue teams who were searching for a missing person.
The body was found in woodland near Church Stretton following searches for a man who was reported as missing on Sunday 29th October.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“A body has been found today (Tuesday 15 November) in a woodland near Church Stretton following searches for a man who was reported missing on Sunday 29 October.
“Formal identification has not yet taken place but it is believed to be that of 56-year-old Christopher Jiggins.”
