West Mercia Police responded to reports of an incident at a Hereford pub this lunchtime.
A large police presence was reported by members of the public in the Commercial Road area of the city at around 12.20pm this afternoon.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police provided Your Herefordshire with an update:
“At around 12.20pm today police responded to a report of man being assaulted at the Kings Fee (Wetherspoon) in Commercial Road in Hereford.
“The injured party was taken to hospital to be treated for a facial injury.”
