West Mercia Police are appealing for information after reports that a 16-year-old boy was subjected to homophobic slurs in Hereford.
The incident, which was reported to Police, is understood to have happened on 16th June.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We have received a report that on Monday 16th June 2025, a 16 year old male has been subject to homophobic slurs on the Great Western Way footbridge.
“The suspect, a male approx 12-13 years of age shouted slurs at the victim, and was believed to be part of a larger group of 5-6, other teenagers who may have witnessed the incident.
