UPDATE – 1.15PM: A spokesperson for West Mercia Police told Your Herefordshire: “Officers were called to reports of a concern for safety in the Victoria Bridge area of Hereford at about 12.30pm today (Wednesday 27 October). Emergency services remain in the area.”
West Mercia Police officers are currently responding to an incident close to the River Wye in Hereford.
A member of the public has told us that police are currently stopping people walking over the Victoria Bridge in Hereford, with reports that officers are currently speaking to somebody on the bridge.
