Police are appealing for information after a Mikita Radio and £570 were stolen from a van in Herefordshire.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:

“We are appealing for information after a Makita Radio and £570 was taken from a van parked in Lumber Lane Lugwardine. 

“The theft occurred between 22nd February at  07:45 and 08:00 on 23rd February 2022

“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

“We have had two separate reports of vehicles being broken into in the Bartestree / Lugwardine area. 

“There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property – where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended.

“We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
