Officers are appealing for information following a collision on Bodenham Road in Hereford on Friday 30 August.
At around 8.35pm, a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Jetta, near to Elizabeth Court assisted living facility.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are still ongoing.
