From West Mercia Polce:

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft of a Land Rover from a farm in Dormington.

The incident occurred overnight on Monday 8th November 2021 where individuals attempted to remove the vehicle out of a farm yard on Lamport Lane, Dormington before abandoning it.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the incident or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property – ensure vehicles are locked when not in use, consider fitting aftermarket security devices and park in an area covered by CCTV or PIR lighting.

Land Rovers are particularly vulnerable to theft so consider the use of a number of covert and overt security devices such as pedal locks, steering wheel locks, trackers and aftermarket alarms.

We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
