West Mercia Police are appealing for information after a number of incidents at the Western Power Sub Station in Dormington.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
The Western Power sub station in Dormington has been broken into a number of times recently. On the most recent occasion offender(s) have cut part of a metal fence panel and taken copper earthing out of the ground with a value of approximately £50,000.
The location is a live compound and it is extremely dangerous to enter.
On this occasion, the theft happened on a Saturday afternoon after staff had left for the day.
If you are passing the location and you see anything that looks suspicious can you please call the Police immediately.
