Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place between 01:30 and 02:30 on SUNDAY 16TH AUGUST 2020 on The Link Road in Hereford, next to the Medical Centre and building site entrance.
An 18 year old male was walking home from the city centre and has become separated from his group when he has been struck from behind and knocked to the floor. A group of up to 8 males have continued to kick and punch him before running away in the direction of the Train Station.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or has information as to the identity of the offenders is asked to call 101 or report online via the West Mercia Police Website, quoting incident number 00124_i_16082020
