Officers are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the M5 northbound between Junctions 8 and 7.

At around 12:10pm Friday afternoon (22 September) a vintage army ambulance collided with a stationary HGV on the hard shoulder resulting in the driver of the ambulance receiving serious injuries.

Officers who are investigating the collision are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, including any motorists on the road at the time with dash-cam footage.
