From West Mercia Police:

Good afternoon,

Yesterday (Thursday 4th November) a vehicle and two males were involved in what we believe was an attempt to break in to a shed at a property in Cross Keys near Withington.

The shed has unfortunately been broken in to approximately 4 months ago and a large amount of expensive items were stolen. We believe that the same offenders have gone back in order to do it again.

This time, fortunately the owner of the property and his dog were in at the time and they managed to scare the offenders off.

The incident happened at approximately 1520hrs and the offenders made off towards Sutton St Nicholas.

The vehicle that the offenders were in is quite distinctive – a green Subaru Forester with a trailer on the back. The trailer is described as wire and it contained a ladder and a blue barrel on there. We do not have the vehicles registration number at this stage.

One of the offenders is described as approximately 6ft tall, early 20’s and wearing a black tracksuit with a white stripe down it and a white cap.

Where you in the area at the time? Did you see this vehicle?

Please get in touch with me if you have any information in relation to this incident and quote reference number 00395-I-04112021.

Kind regards

PCSO Christina Howard
