West Mercia Police appeal for witnesses after a man died in a collision in Herefordshire.

The collision occurred on the A44 between Pembridge and Lower Burton, at the junction with the road into Eardisland. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police:

“Did you see a collision on the A44 in Herefordshire on Tuesday?

“At around 10.30am there was a three vehicle collision on the A44 between Pembridge and Lower Burton, at the junction with the road into Eardisland.

“It involved a Volkswagen Golf, a Volvo lorry and a Ford Transit. The driver of the Ford Transit, a 83-year-old man, sadly died at the scene.  

“No other injuries were reported. A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured it on dash cam is asked to please email tom.milton@westmercia.police.uk quoting incident 150 of 1 November.”
