Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a collision in Allensmore, Herefordshire.

The collision happened on the A465, close to the junction with the B4348, at around 4.40pm yesterday afternoon (15 January) and involved two cars; a red VW Polo and a black Renault Clio.

The driver of the Renault Clio, a man in his eighties, sadly later died in hospital. The driver of the VW Polo was treated for minor injuries.
