West Mercia Police have issued an appeal after two animals were taken from a garden in Hereford.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“On the 27/10/2024 at 15:23pm a resident in Villa Street reported the theft of 2 ferrets from a hutch within the their garden.
“The ferrets were subsequently located later in the day by a passing dog walker in the children’s play park on Hunderton Green and have been safely returned to the owner.
“Resident has carried out house to house inquires in the local area for any witnesses to the theft or cctv so far only being told of 2 males involved aged approximately from 8 to 13 years old.
“If anyone has any further information or cctv that may assist in the identification of the 2 males described please contact police on 101 quoting the log number 00269_I_27102024 as reference.”
