West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of suspicious incidents in a Herefordshire village.
“Over the last 2 weekends we have had reports of criminal damage to items in some of the Bulmers orchards that are situated around Westhope.
“Machinery warning signs have either been damaged or stolen as well as damage caused to the guard rails around the fruit handling plants.
“Unfortunately at this time we do not have any times that the damage/thefts are occurring but please remain vigilant and report anything that you see suspicious.
“Hereford Rural North Safer Neighbourhood team will be increasing their patrols in the area but if you have any information in relation to these incidents then please email them on: herefordrn.snt@westmercia.pnn.police.uk quoting reference SD-12575-22-2222-01.
