From West Mercia Police:

Police are appealing for information after a number of individuals attempted to steal fuel from a car in Credenhill.

The incident occurred between 1am and 2am on Monday 4th October 2021 when 3 or 4 individuals were seen on CCTV attempting to remove fuel from a car parked at the junction of Station Road and Waterside.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your property – where possible remove all valuable items from your vehicle before leaving it unattended, ensure you use a locking fuel filler cap and consider parking your car in a well lit area.

We are also encouraging the community to call us on 101 if they see anyone acting suspiciously around a vehicle.
