Officers in Herefordshire are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision on Friday 23 September.

At around 4.35pm on Friday afternoon, a motorcycle and two other vehicles, a white Fiat box van and a white Mini Cooper, were involved in a collision on the A417 between Burley Gate and Maund Bryan in Herefordshire.

The rider of the grey Triumph Street Triple motorcycle, a 59-year-old man, suffered significant injuries and while every effort was made by paramedics to save him, he very sadly died at the scene. The man’s family and next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them all at this terribly sad time. No one else involved in the collision was hurt.

Collision investigators are asking the public if they have any information or have dash-cam footage of the incident to please contact us via our website quoting incident number 414i of 23 September 2022.
