A planning application has been submitted for three student apartments in Hereford and the potential future reinstatement of a canal.

A planning application has been submitted by Braemar Midlands Ltd to turn the land at Underwoods Steel Stockholders in Widemarsh Street in Hereford into three student apartments that will also include car parking on site.

The proposal is as follows:

“Demolition of existing buildings and redevelopment of the site to include the erection of three buildings to provide student accommodation (Sui-Generis), landscaping, car parking, space for future reinstatement of canal and associated works (revised proposal)”

The plans cover 3099 sq metres and there will also be 40 parking spaces on site.
