A parent has issued an alert on a local messageboard after a young girl was approached by a man in a white van outside a school in Herefordshire.
The incident, which is understood to have occurred near John Kyrle High School in Ross-on-Wye has been reported to West Mercia Police.
The post, which was shared on the Ross-on-Wye Noticeboard group on Facebook said:
“My daughter was approached by a man in a white van (40/50 yrs old, brown hair) whilst walking home from school (John Kyrle) this afternoon.
“It was approximately 15:45 on Vaga Crescent onto Foxglove Close.
“I have reported to the police and am informing John Kyrle School, as per advice from the police.
“I felt the need to share for those parents who live on or around Vaga Crescent with children. Luckily she knew to run away.”
