Over 3,600 COVID-19 tests have been carried out since students returned to Hereford Sixth Form College, with over 3,200 conducted in the past week.
Hereford Sixth Form College Principal Phil Tranter told Your Herefordshire: “Since returning to college, over 3,650 COVID-19 tests have been conducted. This is absolutely fantastic with over 95% of students taking the tests. Testing has identified two positive cases. All students and staff have been brilliant.”
A post on the Hereford Sixth Form Facebook page says:
“Last week, Hereford Sixth Form College carried out 3286 lateral flow tests, a testament to the hard work and dedication of staff. As a result, the College is in a strong position to achieve the target of offering three lateral flow tests for every student.
“A huge thank you to all staff involved and to the students for being so willing to participate!”
