Latest Government COVID-19 data shows that only five local authorities in England currently have a lower infection rate than Herefordshire.
Herefordshire’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen significantly over recent weeks, with the latest data (Up to 3rd Dec) indicating an infection rate in Herefordshire of 59.1 cases per 100,000 population.
Only Cornwall and Isles of Scilly (25.5 cases per 100,000 population), Dorset (39.6 cases per 100,000 population), Isle of Wight (19.8 cases per 100,000 population), West Berkshire (53 cases per 100,000 population) and Wirral (51.9 cases per 100,000 population) currently have a lower infection rate than that in Herefordshire. **
