One person was left injured following a collision on the B4348 near Much Dewchurch in Herefordshire on Tuesday.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said:
“We received a call around 3:40pm yesterday afternoon (17 December) with a report of a collision on the B4348, Much Dewchurch.
“Officers arrived to find two vehicles involved.
“One person sustained injuries.”
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:
“Two Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews – one each from Hereford and Ewyas Harold Fire Stations – were called at 15:37 on 17 December to an RTC involving a small vehicle on the B4348 in Much Dewchurch.
“The incident involved two cars both of which were 100% destroyed by fire.
“The fire was extinguished using three hosereel jets.
“No persons were trapped but one male casualty in his 40s was rapidly extricated by a member of the public before being handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
“Police, who also attended, closed the road in both directions. The incident was marked as pending closure at 17:25.”
