One person has been treated by paramedics following a collision in Herefordshire this morning.

The collision occurred on the A49 at Dinmore Hill and the road remains closed.

A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said:

“Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from Leominster and Hereford were called at 08:35 on 2 February to an RTC in Dinmore. Crews discovered a van on its side. Crews discovered a van on its side in the carriageway with three casualties all of whom were out of the vehicle. The road was closed in both directions. Police (log 0099) and ambulance (log 1504) were also in attendance. The vehicle was made safe and the incident was marked as ‘stop’ at 09:09.”

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said:

“We were called at 8.28am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a van on the A49 from Queenswood to Dinmore in Leominster. One ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. Upon arrival we found three patients from the van. A man, who was a passenger in the van was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries. He received treatment on scene and was conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further assessment. The second and third patients, the driver and a passenger did not require treatment.”
