The M5 is currently closed between junctions five and six at Wychbold near Worcester as emergency services deal with a serious collision.
From West Mercia Police:
“We received a call around 5.30pm this evening about a collision involving a number of vehicles. One person has suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital by air ambulance.
“If you are planning to travel, please avoid the area and find an alternative route.”
