One person has been taken to hospital after a glider crashed on the Herefordshire border.
Dyfed-Powys Police and the Welsh Air Ambulance were called, alongside Longtown Mountain Rescue, to the incident in the Black Mountains on Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Longtown Mountain Rescue said:
“Yesterday afternoon the team were called by Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police to a report of a crashed Glider in the Black Mountains.
“Also in attendance were our Wales Air Ambulance Charity colleagues who treated the pilot for their injuries and transported them to Hospital.
“The Glider is located on a footpath, we would ask anyone that does come across the Glider in the Black Mountains to leave the site undisturbed.
“The accident has been reported to the Police and relevant authorities.
“We wish the pilot a speedy recovery.”
