The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Herefordshire has reached 1,002. Thats the total number of cases recorded since the start of the pandemic.
Four further cases of the virus have been recorded in the past 24 hours in the county, following on from the one extra case that was recorded yesterday.
The UK has reported 6,874 new coronavirus cases – a new record.
This is compared to 6,634 confirmed new cases on Thursday.
