NMITE’s Herefordshire Skills for the Future team are pleased to be hosting their second Employer Engagement Forum of 2022 in Leominster.
The Leominster Skills Forum will focus on the importance of upskilling in stimulating the growth of local businesses in Leominster and Herefordshire.
Attendees will hear from a range of guest speakers discussing the skills challenges and opportunities facing businesses in Leominster. You’ll also have the chance to have your say and help shape our plans during the panel discussion

8:30 – 8:45am – Arrival and Registration
8:45 – 9:30am – The Benefits of Work Experience – Lisa Cox, D.Phil, PMP, NLP (Dip)
Work Experience benefits both the employers and young people who participate in it. Lisa will outline how it can help your business to overcome skills gaps and grow. We’ll also dispel myths about the process of giving Work Experience and detail the Herefordshire Skills for the Future team’s Placement Programme.
Lisa is an experienced freelance Training and Development Consultant. She brings extensive experience of managing projects and people from her 22-year career in AstraZeneca. She has also represented Team GB at the European and World Triathlon Championships.
9:45 – 10:45am – Leominster Skills Forum
With input from local businesses, education providers, and expert careers coaches, the panel will give you the chance to hear about, and get involved in, the future of skills in Leominster and Herefordshire.
10:45 – 11:00am – Networking and Departure
A light breakfast will be provided during the event.
