New parking charges have come into effect at the Old Market in Hereford today, with up to an hours parking now costing £1.60, an increase of 30p from the current cost.

The increase in charges for short stay parking will bring the Old Market’s charges into line with charges at other car parks in the city centre such as Gaol Street.
